Today is a day for running family errands. In the morning sent Taikun to
daycare since his EI is visiting. Upon arrival Erica was there---Taikun simply clinged to me like a money holding a tree, reluctant to leave. We went to outdoor playground to join his peers. As usual he was so upset and starting to tear. This has been shared with EI teachers--we feel puzzled about his melt-down. Every time when he is dropped off, it's like the first day of his school in his life! Previous teacher has shared that, Taikun is even going backwards since he cries more recently than before. Taikun tends to be low in the morning. However, after the nap, he looks a new person--becoming much pleasant and active! Geez, wired!
Then, grocery shopping at WalMart, along with
a trip to the cleaner’s to pick up pressed Brooks Brothers suits.
Afternoon visited County Farm and bought items unavailable
at WalMart, such as black plums (Taikun’s must-have), tofu, peach, and
watermelon. Just wonder if there is a similar good-deal grocery after relocating to NY. At least here, it's the first time I have guava since being US! Not to mention Asian eggplant, which tastes so sweet steamed!
Then Taikun pick-up. Today a new teacher is with him and she said he is okay. He cried 30 seconds after we left in the morning. Knowing Taikun is growing in a multilingual environment, she was happy to hear Taikun to repeat her word "go wash hands" today.
The moving has been entirely been planned and implemented by T. Hope it’ll
be a smooth process.
