Big news! While being able to move backward for several months, Taikun is able to crawl forward, though just few steps and still unstable. We just extended the soft mattress area in the play room to twice as big, and enlarged his space for moving-around. After opening the new toy bought from IKEA Pittsburgh---a wood trailer holding building blocks, we noticed that he is attracted to this new toy very much. He loves to bang the blocks with each other. Of course, Taikun can turn his body around among several toys, being increasingly dexterous like a small "monkey."
We are very glad of this milestone. In a few days his grandmother is going to arrive (in the evening of the Memorial Day, May 30th). It is for sure that his grandmother will be very excited about this development, too.
Looking forward to the arrival of Mon, and an upcoming family reunion in August when Dad is flying over to join us.
