above: Male cardinal. No exception--the male version looks more splendid than the female counterpart.
above: I guess this is a female cardinal. Its looks resembles to a parrot, at least at first glance. Note the punk hairstyle!
About Cardinal--
St Louis's team uses the cardinal as its mascot. These birds have caught my attention for a while and I have been feeling a bit frustrated unable to shoot one that has some quality. It's so red! The problem is, most of the windows facing the backyard have snapped-on screens. Thus, unsightly mesh is seen on pictures shot through the windows. The only exception is, the french door leading to the deck. This afternoon (Nov 6 2010) viola, a good chance for a fat bird perched on the branches. Very happy and content that I finally got some pictures of quality!
Oct 24 2010--The fateful day of working. Rashes and blisters found after this day. This really started an ordeal for Tina, not only a great interruption to normal pace of life, but also making her unable to breastfeed Taikun for a couple of weeks.
Poison Ivy
This is the culprit for Tina's rash and blister, which has outburst since the last week of October. This even put Tina to ER on Sunday, Oct 31.
Chipmunk:

Much to my surprise I have never seen a squirrel in new home. This is very different from most of my experiences from Illinois,, Massachusetts, and Maryland. I am unsure the reason. Instead, chipmunks are often seen.

Note: M asked me to finish this post by writing something-- I actually think it may not be necessary. He felt that this post is just pieces of fragments. However, isn't it the threads of thought what we try to capture in life? M is most relax when taking photos-- his pictures and notes show this part of him-- relax, curious, content, even childish and happy. (by T, 11/09/2010)
